Original EAD/AP renewal application is with receipt date of 06/29; Case was
transferred to TSC on 9/7. My last combo card expired on 9/16. So I have
submitted numerous Service Request online and on call. I also went to an
infopass. Nothing really helped... Until the congressman of my district also
called to follow up last week.
Finally, I got RFE for 131 requesting 2 photos... My attorney asserted that
no photo is necessary after we have I-485 biometrics and photos. So she said
we don't need to put any photo with the renewal application! WTF!
Anyone has experience how long it takes to get USCIS to approve the case
after they have the photos? Why I-131 has RFE first? I am waiting for
another shoe to drop right now...

通常律师都是很保守的, 宁可错杀一千不可错过一个.
很多律师都要求很苛刻,比如复印整本护照, 好几年的报税表等等.
这些几乎都是没有任何必要的,
就照片这事我想做过case的人都知道加上照片没有任何坏处,
也不费事.

If you are outside the United States and filing for a Refugee Travel
Document, or if you are in the United
States and filing for an Advance Parole Document:
You must submit 2 identical color photographs of yourself taken within 30
days of the filing of this application.
The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin
paper with a glossy finish, and be
unmounted and unretouched.
