keep your green card. it's all about intension. however, if you plan to
leave the US for more than 12 months, you need to get a re-entry permit (
good for 2 years). otherwise, you need to enter US at least every 12 months.
as long as you have a legitimate reason (work, study aboard, taking care of
oversea family members, etc) of why you need to stay out of the US, CBP will
usually let you come in. |
