标 题: HR1044送到Subcommittee了，感觉可能要被投票了?

02/07/2019 Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.
03/22/2019 Referred to the Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship.
2011年的H.R.3012过了下院没过上院；
2013年的H.R.633死在了Subcommittee;
2015年的H.R.213死在了Subcommittee;
2017年的H.R.392死在了Subcommittee
之前都是Republican的Jason Chaffetz提案的，虽然他在Judiciary Committee但并不
在immigration & citizenship，而是crime, terrorism, homeland security.
但这次法案发起人Zoe Lofgren是Immigration and Citizenship的chair，感觉很快可
以出subcommittee进入投票了？ |

I wouldn't be surprised that country of origin become a scoring criteria.
Don't worry, People's Republic of China might score higher than any of the
axis of evil, even though it might score much lower than India.
Who knows, maybe sending your kids to Ivy League schools would somehow
magically reverse that effect. |
