If 485 has been pending for 180+ days and your new job is the same/similar
to the PERM job, you can change your job now and bring a J form from your
new employer to the interview.
Please confirm with your new employer about the J form before changing the
job. It happened before that an employer refuses to issue a J form for a 485
applicant due to some reason.
