到底是新的东西，不需要外载中文平台，windows xp就可以实现中文的阅读和输入，爽！

win2k也很稳定，XP当然不例外，其实主要也就是界面花哨了许多
实质的东西感觉没啥进步

tell us how to set reading and inputing Chinese without install
special language platform under win98 when u use telnet, thanks

download simplified language input support
and also you can go to your IE, go to view and the character setting
and choose simplified chinese, you computer will dl it automatically if
you do not have it
but it only works in IE and Outlook express

老夫几百年前就在使用这个方法了，M$ IME(input method editor)
我说的是98下when u use telnet的中文输入
btw,我的理解IME只有在html下有效，如果你在outlook express用
plain text编辑邮件，还是无法使用ime
