Analytical Chemist
This person will function as the primary Analytical Chemist for the
development of rubber, polyurethane, and composite materials for industrial
roll covers.
Duties Include:
· Analysis of new cover compounds with FTIR and other chemical analysis
techniques.
· Operation and maintenance of FTIR, DSC, TGA, DMA, and TMA equipment.
· Analytical laboratory failure analysis of rubber, polyurethane, and
composite materials.
· Interpreting analytical data, drawing conclusions, and reporting the
findings.
· Interacting with the Quality and Research groups at Stowe Woodward
The qualified candidate will have completed a four year BA or BS degree in
chemistry. A background in analytical polymer chemistry and thermal analysis
of polymers is desirable. Experience with rubber, polyurethane, and
composites analysis is preferred. Knowledge of the paper industry and
industrial research experience is also desirable. | c*******n
