acceptance (they don't seem to have a MS option, correct me if i'm wrong).
So between the two schools I got in (UPenn and Cornell), which one is better
for systems engineering? I came up with the following pros and cons table
but still can't make up my mind...
Cornell
Pros:
-Great engineering school
-Interdisciplinary approach on systems engineering, electives from CS, EE,
ME, AE and IEOR
-Ithaca campus is beautiful

otherwise, Upenn might be a better choice.

That's what I thought too. But one large problem remains: does Cornell's
isolated location (compare to Philly) hinders career fair attendance? Ithaca
is a good 4 ~5 hours drive from NYC. | J*********r
发帖数: 5921 | 5 One friend of mine who also finished his MECS in Cornell once told me
that they usually travelled by plane during job hunting period.
There's a small airport in Ithaca.

发帖数: 681 | 6 systems engineering, the advisor is peter jackson, he has very high
reputation. i also took course from hotel management at cornell when pursue
this degree which counts for the credit earned. | c******7

Were you also in Cornell's SE program too? So you are free to take classes
from other college (Hotel, Business School, Architecture) as well? |
