would offer you great experimental experience designing embedded
microelectrode experiments and using those to record electrical signals from
multiple neurons at once and then try to understand the dynamics that leads
to generation of patterns and intelligence in the brain, at this time, we
want to explore the olfactory system of the rat brain. It has both
experimental and theoretical components."

我昨天还跟教授说我编程能力比较强，要他给我个比较重视coding的position,没想到
给了我这个项目。那做这个电路就是用模数电的知识吧？这样的方向PHD毕业后能进

recording要求更多analog cirucuit design background. |

So the question is what's your career goal in the future? It's your call.

现在选PHD也是没办法，因为PHD有奖学金。。。
我的目标就是将来能进像微软之类的IT巨头，留在美国最好，回国也可以，单纯从这个
研究方向的角度来说，不知道能不能使我实现这个目标？另外导师今天告诉我他还有一
个是assistive robotics的方向,不知道和我现在这个哪个好？

这种embedded的东西是硬件加软件的。没有一定工业界基础很难做出能用的东西。
简而言之，楼主如果只懂编程，最好是去CS. |

一般是ee和生物系合作的,ee负责设计电路和处理数据，生物负责做实验和收集数据
如果你是ee的，这个方向需要低功耗低噪音analog ic design的知识
