you are going to buy a house.
If you want to go back to China and rent, then it does not make much
difference from the income point of view, and the industry experience here
is more important.
Consider the position in company, which one will be a better experience for
your career goal?
In general, there are more stuff like VC/entrepreneurs/seminars/networking
in bay area.

No question about it. Other major, no clue.
Still CA would be better for me. For weather, and the culture. CA is quite
different from east coast etc. Plus you plan to go back China. Why bother
care a bit of taxes?
Plus CA = large company.It may look better on your resume.
