The Digital Communications group seeks an intern to work on high capacity
optical fiber communications technologies for 3 months. The intern will be
responsible for assisting in the development of analytical models and
simulations to evaluate the performance of the optical fiber communication
links and to help develop algorithms and techniques to improve performance.
Familiarity with the following tools is desirable: Matlab (preferably
including object-oriented coding in Matlab) and VPItransmiss
