only one company (Micron).
Portland is a nice place to live but has high income tax (8.x%), though no
sales tax, and some companies around. Its economy is so so these days.
It has been the trend that companies no longer adjust pay based on the cost of living of the location, so it really depends on your priorities.

OR好歹是西海岸，机会就多很多。
Boise就剩micron一家在那里，除了一个memory的process，想不出还能做啥

) sometime, and baby need
to rest at night. so option 1.
2. boise has lower tax and cheaper house than portland, which can compensate
the $10000 difference
3. even assume you get focked off sometime later, unemployment rate will be
much better than now, so you won have much problem to locate another job (
nation wide) because u r phd | r*******e
