Is this research area among the topics easy to find a job?
The location is far from California or Texas, but close to the east coast.
What kind of “坑” do you experts think it is? | B*G 发帖数: 13438 | 3 OSU is good, Columbus is boring. The area is not hottest, but definitely
above average among all ECE majors. And I believe they are recruiting PhD
and Postdoc, not masters, so you have no idea what the research is about,
forget about it.

But my situation is like this, OSU is definitely better than my university,
and I am quite sure my research area is at the bottom of all ECE majors (
Applied Physics)......So I plan to pursue a PhD degree in ECE and find a job
in the industry in the future.
Does it make any difference if they are recruiting masters? I am a little
confused.

and school locations are everything, nobody cares about ur background or ur
research. Pursuing PhD is a big decision of your life. You are not gonna be
on job market very soon and nobody really knows what happens after 4-5 years
.
