Job Function Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, a.k.a. QCT http://www.qualcomm.com/qct/, is the industry leader in 3G and 4G communication technology, the largest fabless semiconductor company in the world and is consistently ranked among Fortune's "100 Best Companies to Work For". QCT's power systems team is actively seeking candidates to apply analog, power and mixed signal integrated circuit test and debug expertise to the integration of power management devices into digital wireless phone systems. Circuits of interest are: voltage regulators, precision references, battery charge controllers, USB transceivers, speaker drivers and crystal oscillators. Use your software skills (C/C++, Perl, Labview, etc) and hardware (board level circuit design) skills to bring new power and mixed signal IC designs into production.
Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for working
with a large, cross-functional, power circuits and systems team to develop
custom test programs in C++ for advanced analog and mixed-signal power
systems test platforms.
Skills/Experience * Ability to work with common lab equipment such
as power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, JTAG
debugger, frequency counters, etc.
* Significant industry experience designing and implementing test programs
in C/C++.
* Hands on experience with board and device debug is a plus.
* Knowledge in power, mixed-signal, or analog PCB design including CAD
interface.
* Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work
thoroughly.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering
