Video Communication Engineer
Required Skills
•Extensive experiences in architecting, designing, developing, and
verifying video transport systems
•Knowledge of H.264, H.263, and/or MPEG1/2/4 video/audio codecs
•Both qualitative and quantitative measurement of video quality
•Basic knowledge of wireless or wired networking with bandwidth and
latency constraint
•Basic knowledge of media access control (MAC) for wireless or wired
networks
•Good programming skills in both C/C++ and Matlab
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to analyze the design in terms of circuit implementation
complexity and power consumption
•MSEE or Equivalent, Ph.D. in EE or related fields preferred
Staff Engineer, Software
Required Skills
•Knowledge of HDMI protocol and Video standards
•Knowledge of high data rate Wireless MAC Architecture and Design
•Technical proficiency in development of Wireless MAC protocols such
as 802.11, 802.15 and 802.16
•SW Development experience with embedded processors such as ARM, MIPS,
ARC, XScale, etc.
•SW Development experience under an embedded RTOS such as ThreadX,
VxWorks, uClinux, Nucleus, QNX, etc.
•Knowledge of development and debugging tools such as GDB, Eclipse,
Wind River Tornado IDE, Green Hills Multi IDE, etc.
•Strong team player with excellent written/oral communications skills
and highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
Engineer, Staff (CAD)
Required Skills
•Understand CAD tools use and deployment for IC design flow as well as
AE support experience
•IC design flow development and scripting support
•Unix adminstration knowledge and compute farm support experience
•Fluent use of scripting language such as shell, perl,…for design
automation
•Version control knowledge and experience to work with open source
applications
