I am seeking a Principal Engineer who will be tasked with leading a cross-
disciplinary team working on a multi-million dollar research program to
develop electronic medical devices. In addition to program management
responsibilities, this engineer will oversee and contribute to the design
iterations; including material selection, hardware miniaturization, MEMs
fabrication, and electronics integration.

Responsibilities
Serves as the technical leader and program manager for development of novel
products from concept to development.
Analyzes technical issues with a hands-on approach.
Management of external partners and integration of external technologies,
when appropriate
Establishes initial project schedules and regularly maintains these project
schedules. These activities include the recommendation of appropriate
staffing/resources for each design activity and determination of time to
completion for each task on the project schedule.
Knowledge and Skills
Systems level engineering experience in the area of electrical design
including system integration, digital/analog hardware design, power system
design, system interconnection, and user interface.
Prior development of electronics medical device or wearable devices, with
knowledge in Design Control and Design Risk Management, is desirable
Prior technical experience in MEMs design/fabrication/integration, optics
and material sciences is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or other disciplines of
Engineering degree), with a minimum of 10 years related experience or
equivalent combination of education and demonstrable experience.
An advanced degree is preferred.
PMP Certification is highly desired for this position |
