empirical research becomes increasingly more important, econometrics play a
significant role in economics.
A professor told me long time ago that Granger has very good intuition, and
many recent development in economics can be traced back to his earlier ideas.
He has too many ideas anyway.
Engle is famous and he also has a famous team of students. That's smart!
