师证一般需要本专业30个学分，但是如果有语言教育方面学位，不是中文教育，会不会
因为中文是native language而waive掉学分的规定？ |

those "high need areas"? (math, science, special education, etc.) If so, you
might want to apply for a job directly... But I could be wrong, they might
not accept Chinese license after all. |

发帖数: 387 | 9 楼上的，我就是到各个州的教育部网站上查。有的州有中文教师证，有的没有，有的一
般都规在foreign language certificate一类。
今天看了NJ的要求，我的状况还是要修很多中文专业的课。觉得他们的网站是给美国人
做的。我没有看到任何如果你是native speaker该怎样的信息。打电话问他们，他们尽
然也不知道。 |

teacher license program. If I can finish my student teaching this spring( I
am not sure if I can invest enough time to do it since I am a full time
teacher now), I will get Chinese teacher license, as well as my other 20
classmastes, all native speakers.
It is my understanding that if you want to get a new license, you still have
to go through a license program, that means you need to take classes,
practicum, and do student t |
