I talked with my instructor today and she said the news I heard was actually
a state law, not nationwide. It's implemented in SC and might be accepted
by some other states. And it had been implemented in North Carolina. I
searhed online and I could not find the orignial copy of the news but the
link above will bring you some information. I think it represents a trend or
indicator that it will be easier to become a teacher than before.

I see. That's actually not new. Nebraska has been doing this for a while. So
if you have a Math or Science degree but not teaching certificate, try
Nebraska!
