这尤其对中西部的州影响很大
大城市和偏远地区的公立学校可能相对影响较小。 |

I heard from someone at state department of education that we probably won't
have an increase in salary next year due to the deficit, but no need to
worry if you're looking for positions in special ed (especially in needy
areas). |

position next year. |

some schools and combined some schools, laid off many teaching positions
and supporting staff. No salary increase for sure. Just keep our fingers
crossed for our jobs. |

发帖数: 223 | 10 I just heard the same person saying that they're receiving more funding in
special education (state-wide from federal) than last year. On the other
hand, a teacher from a public school in Maryland said that their county is
closing dozens of schools and about 900 teachers will not be back next year
(including the ones who are retiring and ones who resign). It sounds kind of
scary. |
