发帖数: 160 | 1 My school will have a week long mini-mester for all teachers to develop something of their own interests. The
students can sign up for each teacher's offering. I am planning on doing Camp China-- a Chinese culture
camp. Right now, I am thinking calligraphy, Chinese checkers, dumpling making, Chinese grocery shopping,
dim-sum and Confucianism. Can you guys think of something else that is easy for me to prepare and has
some intellectual stimulation that is geared towards high school students? |

发帖数: 160 | 4 Yes, that was the plan last year. However, not many kids signed up so I had
to cancel the trip. I was hoping I
could use this mini-mester as a vehicle to generate some interests from
students on Chinese culture so that
they can have some exposure to Chinese language as well as all the fun
things that come along with it. After
all these maybe we could revisit the topic of a trip to China at some point.

calligraphy which was much easier to get supplies. Glad those links can be
