Timewarner cable box -->wirless router-->desktop(through ethernet cable),
and couple of latops(wirelss).
Question:
1. Can I assign different bandwidth to desktop and other laptops?
2. There's another to connect to cable box through USB. Can connect the
cable box using both USB and Ethernet? Would they work at the same time?

2. Either USB or Ethernet, but not both.

router before, installed dd-wrt image, worked pretty stable
