allocation, I have seen many clients that were allocated 2 /24 blocks from
their ISPs, but what they need (and they are actually using) is only a
handful of IPs.

我觉得ipv6的进展不简单取决于ipv4的地址“耗尽”，换句话说，不会因为没有ipv4可
分了，ipv6就
很快全面开花了，当然了，这个“很快”很难定义。1-2年？3-5年？5-8年？个人觉得1

5年小可能，5-8年不知道。移动应用是个大变数。

做当然是人人都在做了，也都做了有一阵子了，谁不做会被人笑话的。但SP绝对不是
IPv6的关键，sp只
是ipv6中间的一个重要技术环节，而技术因素永远都不会是最重要的（甚至离“最”差
得很远）。内容和
终端应该是主要的推动因素。

14%我都觉得多了。HP就有2个A class地址，这样的公司还有好几个。但问题是ip地址
没有实质
的拥有者，iana和rir都只是管理者，很难要回浪费的地址。我每年都按时交管理费，
凭什么要回
去？要是想靠改政策要回地址，按惯例新政策又管不了老事情，而起远水解不了近渴。
等着看吧，

So if a computer can do one echo request and wait for positive/negative echo reply within one second, it takes 136 years to cycle through the full IPv4 address space, of course this problem can easily be distributed, but it is still a bad idea.
I did not expect IPv4 address space is that huge.

所以呀，ipv6应该在相当一段时间内不会是我们主要的吃饭家伙，但是对将来肯定是有
好处。
看看谁在ipv6上最积极，hurricane electric，见人就抓住吹ipv6，但行业影响力实
在有限。
