发帖数: 142 | 3 这个问题我也想了很久，当时很想继续留下来读phd，无奈导师没有好的方向，phd之路
也就这样中途而废了，不能不说是个遗憾啊。现在工作年把了，也还是不知道研究个什
么方向好。我觉得主要是环境科学方向太难定位了，综合了化学，微生物学。环境科学
又有很多时候跟环境工程交叉，而环境工程又综合物理，流体，工程绘图，GIS...所以
你的忧虑是可以理解的。

MS, agricultural environmental protection, phosphorus loss
Master, statistics
certificate, GIS
PhD......???
basically I don't have a lot of experimental skills, either field or lab, but
I don't mind doing this and I believe I'll be quick learner. What I'm
currently looking for is modeling, water resource, water quality stuff. I'm
trying to go to Top school, but many top schools don't have facutly in my area

发帖数: 3 | 5 I feel you have experience with watershed scale processes? There are quite
some opennings in this field at least this year (UConn is an example). I know
TA Endreny (SUNY ESF) and Eric Wood (Princeton) have been working on the P
problem before. Obviously, there are tons of people working on the nitrogen
problem. Personally I think people will tend to incorporate hydrology, GIS, RS
into watershed studies. just my 2 cents.
