Sandra headed off with Mike to do some Christmas shopping, and Ben and Tim
left to buy a tree. Julia borrowed the Audi so she could meet some friends
at the mall up the highway. With my father working in Manhattan that day and
my mother keeping a hair appointment, I had the house to myself for a few
hours.
I took possibly the longest shower in history, enjoying every minute of it.
