1) Sitting on the throne: in the toilet. Eg. He bought a laptop so that
he can play bbs on his throne.
2) The 11th commandment: Thou shalt not be cought. Eg.: You can speed
on highways, but you have to live with the 11th commandment.
3) The fat lady sings: It is finished. This idiom is from operas, where
nothing can be finished before the prima dona (normally very fat) sings.
Eg: another idiom says, nothing is finished before the fat lady sings. |
