I always have is how to improve business English, especially on subtle issues.
Let me start with one example. Last week I got a call from someone who cause
the delay of an important project. He said "I volunteered to help. I'm just an
analyst and don't have the authority to tell people that they have to get
something done by a certain date. ..." Anyway, I think what he was expecting
