in the history of the planet, it has gone through many ice ages, with warm
periods in between, way before human civilization. As a matter of fact, the
earth's temperature right now is below its historical average and we are
gradually warming up.
As a matter of fact, the earth was so hot in the last cycle that trees grew
in the arctic, and left dead to form the oil fields we have up there now.
