written in English.
BOD - biological oxygen demand (I never heard to use biological demand of
oxygen)
Secondary settler - I assume it is secondary clarifier I do not understand
why feed the BOD at secdonary clarifier (SC). Generally speaking, you need
to feed MLSS from the SC to the head of biological basin for sludge
recycling to improve treatment efficiency.

You may post the text before and after that.
My guess is it is a complex sentence, and either "input/performance" has
nothing to do with BOD.
Sounds like it is analyzing the BOD load in the secondary clarifier. May
have something to do with the de-nitrification in the secondary clarifier? |

发帖数: 1038 | 4 Secondary clarifier is primarily used for sludge settling down after
bioloical basin. If plant is used for nutrient removal, there should be an
anoxic basin either before or after aerobic basin. The SC configuation is
not designed for this purpose.

这两个词语，是我在一篇记录西班牙的污水厂运行情况的数据资料里发现的, 它们是两
个不同概念的数据记录项目。
我能够理解 secondary settler 和 secondary clarifier是同一意思。对于 input
BOD to secodary settler，我的理解是二沉池的入流。
但是对于 performance input BOD to secondary settler，我感到困惑的是
performance input 到底指的是什么呢？ 在这里performance 代表了什么呢？ |
