顺便请教一下,美国的驾照在瑞士可以用吗？
听说前3个月内可以换成本地驾照，是不是就不需要重考了？

no, you need to get international DL at AAA in the states before coming to
switzerland. Then, you need to carry both your DL and the international dl
together while driving in Switzerland. This is valid for 1 year. | c******g

the road test again. I heard there are convenient public transportation so
maybe I could take bus at Zurich.
How about other people especially students in there, by bus or buy a car? If
most of students buy a car like in US, I will think about buying a car
instead of walking. Also, I can get a bike, I am going back to China again
but it is good for health.

active as me and going to lots of places, then depending on the places you
are going, it may still be beneficial to have a car for the weekends. Most
students here do not have cars. It's very expensive to keep it in terms of
parking spaces, gas prices, insurance etc.
You can live very well on a bike and public transport and only rent car when
you really need one. Get an international DL regardless just in case.
