Dear Colleagues:
As you might have seen on the news that a devastating earthquake, magnitude
7.9, that hit SiChuan Province on 5/12/2008.Rescuers dug through schools and
homes turned into rubble by China's worst earthquake in three decades to
reach victims trapped beneath slabs of concrete, as the death toll from the
disaster rose Tuesday to nearly 12,000 (number is increasing) and thousands
remained missing.
Many families lost their loved ones. |
