新AP的relocation fee有也不会太多，所以不应该是签与不签的一个原因。签之前先问
一下没有关系，但不用太当回事。
如果没有，可以问一下能不能从startup里报销。我印象中多数学校都是可以的。

发帖数: 397 | 3 是吗？感觉好点了：）系里说应该在negotiate的时候谈，现在太晚了。一般新的AP大
概是多少费用可以报呢？跨好几个州的那种。我拿的是teaching性质的学校，就可怜的
几千块startup，都报销不大好吧：）

to bargain. But your department may want to cover the balance if you talk to
the chair.
In fact, when I was on campus interview, one school's dean told me although
we have this much relocation cap but you could ask this much more...
At another school the dept chair told me that the school will cover me this
much relocation fee but the dept will cover the rest. |

有政策的，所以当初没有问。那里知道一份钱都没有。
