发帖数: 4883 | 5 Not really. I've seen Tenured Professors couldn't survive in academia
because of lack of funding.
The pressure from the college is huge for them and some of them had to
resign. Also some of them could only get a portion of their salary if they
have no grant. The academic life is tougher and tougher!
