Just got some information from a senior professor in one specialty area in
psychology. The summary of the total openings of tenure-track faculty
postings in the past three years is listed as below:
2009-2010: up to date-15 (expecting 30 more before Spring/2010)
2008-2009: 49
2007-2008: 80
