Even though we already applied for the license, I am afraid it's better for us not to

两个人都当faculty并不一定象你们想象的那样会有很大的矛盾，找工作的时候，女生
愿意小牺牲一把就行了。毕竟女生是生娃娃养娃娃的主力，家庭重担压女生身上，不是
很好。 |

follows. You can accept the fantastic offer at the prestigious institute.
Then wait for opportunities to relocate where your boy friend is. Remember,
it's much easier to get an offer from a lower ranked university if you are
at a higher ranked one.
Then you both will have to travel by air to visit each other periodically.
Don't save money here. |

academia, and your boyfriend is nowhere near your current status. The
relationship doesn't look right -- in this situation one of you has to
sacrifice, and it's obvious who should do that.
Even if you give up, it may not help your relationship in a long run. Of
course, no one really knows the future, but the sign is not good.
