I'm sincerely seeking information about any special mortgage program
for university faculty.
I recently graduated and started my tenure track faculty job at pretty
good research university. I'm thinking of buying a home. But the problem is
that I am still in F1-OPT status for another 4-6 months.
I think the rule is that I need to have a H1b to get a mortgage. But I
will not be able to get my H1b approval before the closing date.
Is anyone aware of any specific mor |

that a "home" can not be bought with money nor mortgage. :)

我去和将来会贷款的银行做了个pre-financing approval，也就是看看工资单，查查信
用分数，复印了护照，学校开了是永久性职位的证明，等等，记不太清了。好像和h1b
关系不大。not sure.
