Just started the past summer 2009 at A school in midwest. My wife is not a
big fan of long winters and wants to go to California. Can I submit an
application to B school in California without upsetting people at A school?
Will they find out my application? Thanks for sharing your experience and
opinions.

not good but understandable, but quite a few people change in the first 1-2
years.
getting B's offer is more important than considering A's feeling. Everyone
is looking for opportunity.
