老公应该是找系主任说呢还是人力资源部的谈？

有性别歧视问题了。我们这里是少教一门课。

teaching, etc. HOWEVER, in practice, men rarely take this advantage.Men are

I posted a similar question here several days ago on this board.
Later got comfirmation ---
1. faculty have no holiday during spring/fall semester. (since there are 3
months summer "holiday")
2. we have sick day leave, I asked if I can use. it I was told "your wife
gives baby, you are not sick, right?".
3. the only mechanism is --- unpaied leave
4. and for unpaid leave, tenure clock does not stop.
5. teach load release? I am asking, but no response a |

take care of your wife? anyhow, you need to keep accumulatting rp before
that so when you slack a little bit during this period, ppl won't be harsh
on ya

the baby in the summer, and my parents were around, so it turned out okay.
large state univ here, too.

because of lack of man power in the department.

was working out okay. but do all private univs offer better benefits? i know
at ohio state, all faculty, male or female, get a 1-year stop on the tenure
clock for EACH baby. amazing.

Just kiding. How did you get 1-0? I was assigned for two in the coming

some grant money to buy a course off.
