其实我并不想留在大学的，一直希望去工业界。很多人说工业界申请绿卡比较难。
请问工业界申请绿卡真的很难么？ |

不是。如果你找到研究性的职位，也可以从工业界申请eb1-b。如果你本身条件还不错
，也可以靠自己申请eb1-a。

如果你申请EB1A或者NIW，申请绿卡的事情跟你老板没有任何关系。
顶多就是推荐信不要你老板的就是了。

老板办绿卡的事我想继续谈。
如果老板帮忙办绿卡，那么ｉｎｓｔｒｕｃｔｏｒ是不是要有优势？ |

Instructor position does not help in EB1A (self-petition) or EB1B (employer
sponsored) application since these
two categories generally ask for excellent RESEARCH output.
So, as an instructor, you can apply for EB2 PERM (employer sponsored).
But EB2 generally takes a lot of time (>3-5 years?)
If you don't work there long time, it does not help a lot since you need to
reapply your EB2 PERM if you
change your employer.
In this case, if your research output is not too bad, it is
