想起美国本科生，非常普及
比较curious中国的工程类学生用这个吗？
当然如果有电脑，mathematical，maple，mathcad之类也不错
不过毕竟带个电脑不方便 |

well, that's not the kinda answer I was looking for though.
I guess I should rephrase the question a little. my bad.
My question was actually about mathematics training in china's
engineering education.
My impression is that the students in the states don't spend much time
on that as they heavily rely tools like programmable calculators
or other computer softwares. That was not the case when I was in China
and I am wondering if the situation has changed or .....

以前美国也不常用吧。这个东东只有二十来年的历史。
我不看好它的前景，它的替代品太多了，smart phone，
ipad, netbook。
