long to get a PhD degree. You certainly can show interests on sports,
weather, etc... I am sure the students will also ask a lot of question.

will provide feedback to hiring committee. Don't bring up any inappropriate
topics like politics. And don't be snobbish in front of students. I know a
few
cases where the candidates were turned down partly because students are
strongly against them.

can remember. Do not worry too much.
The real hard task is to have dinner with undergrads, if a candidate does no
t finish his college in the US... Anyway, this is not your case.

发帖数: 925 | 7 跟SENIOR FACULTY面试，要让他们主导话题方向，多听。如果有不确定的问题，可以不
直接回答，适当反问、旁敲侧击，往往他们会自己把答案给你，然后你再回答肯定不错。
跟学生可以放松些。有的学生很刁，成事不足败事有余。别让这种人主导话题。多问、
多说、少听。“今天天气。。。哈哈哈”据说是中国人的文化遗产，现在怎么了？

It is about the matter of getting yourself the job or not. For a job
candidate to dig the department's politics, you are
giving people excuses to reject u.

your postdoc training, such as High GRE TOFEL scores, work hardly, very
productive (like get the data publishing in jbc within one week).
if nothing to brag about yourself, then brag about your bosses, how bull
