anyone had similar experience before (even if it is with regular proposal
instead of CAREER proposal)? It appears to be addressing reviewer's concerns
in journal submission; is this understanding right? Any advice will be
greatly appreciated. |

regular proposal. They raised several questions and I tried to answer them
as detail and as soon as possible. |

我以前碰到过类似的情况(regular grant)的，当时写了一份非常详细的reply，有文字
有图表有公式，跟文章一样详细，隔了一天发回去(考虑到立刻发回去PO会觉得reply得
太仓促)。后来合作者说我没必要写那么多，随便写点就可以，只是过场而已。

pm发来了review concerns, 回答完以后，
过了几个礼拜，就收到电话，要求rebudget.
就拿到了。
这个一个very very good sign. congratulation.

I submitted my well-prepared response letter this noon (the specified
deadline); 20 minutes later, my PM emailed me and told me that my proposal
is recommended for funding.
This is my thrid time in submitting CAREER, and I am glad that it worked.
