I am going to New York City in early February for tenure track faculty (
medical school) interview. Two full days interview, and the presentation is
on the first day. There is a dinner with the director in NYC on the first
day after a break in hotel. Should I prepare three sets of suits for that (
first day, second day, and the dinner)? Should I be in suits for dinner too?
This is the first arranged interview. No experience...

我觉得晚饭穿西服比较安全，实际上interview那个时候就开始了。

发帖数: 1422 | 3 you do not wear 西服 for dinner. elegant but female style clothes would be
good. for example, high quality sweater plus skirt.... you are expected to
change a new set of clothes for dinner, if they provide a break in hotel.
For 2nd day, 1st day 西服 + a change on shirt might be adequate.

understand and appreciate. To play it safe, however, I would dress formally
and behave professionally from the moment you meet the first person of the
school and until you lose the sight of the last person of the school. |

dinner dress during the interview. To "dress formally and behave
professionally", does it mean that I should always dress in suits?

dressed the right clothes,不知道是真的还是。。。。

发帖数: 277 | 8 一套质量好suits的就可以，有presentation 那天穿裙装，第二天换成裤子，里面衬衣（或
内衣要换）。晚餐前给你时间到旅馆fresh up，就应该换掉suits，但也要dress up. |

I have not gotten my interview itinerary yet. I just hope that they do not
give me the break in hotel before dinner so that I do not need to worry
about if I should change my dressing code for dinner from the full day of
