的话，是不是可以委婉的提出来，我听说他们学院新AP大约拿多少钱，能不能相应的
match呢？如果我的qualifications并不比我所知道的人差，甚至更好的话
说的时候是不是只要不提具体某某人的名字，就可以了呢？
这样negotiate工资老美会不高兴或者反感吗？ |

You shouldn't say your credential is better than others. Just say, given my
background and experience and based on the survey on new hire salary, you
thing a salary of xxx is reasonable...

发帖数: 117 | 3 There are 3 reasons I did not do that: 1) I did not think a few thousand
dollars matter; 2) My best American friend, who is a very noble person and
now an AP, also thought a few thousand does not worth negotiating and
suggested me to focus on negotiating the startup fund which he think is more
important; 3) An acquaintance (an American guy) who is an AP there said the
salary seems about right, and when I asked for his advice, did not suggest
me to negotiate.

你当然应该negotiate一下，不过不是这么个谈法。
salary match一般是问学校A能不能match学校B给你offer的工资，而不是要学校A
match该学校给其他人的工资。 |

答应的。。。
同个学校不怎么知道
