and request a recommendation letter from a professor in that department.
Is it OK?
Will he agree?
Today I found out he is one of search committees. How possibly
will he write a recommendation letter for me.
We colaborated for a long time and published one poster. |

collaborator，也应该主动避嫌。
但是那个教授还是可以给你做口头推荐，而且他的意见会比较重要。
我申请教职的时候，thesis committee的一个合作教授是search committee的，我没能
管他要推荐信，但是他说了我无数好话，使了很多力气推荐我。

in this case, I think I better write a letter to withdraw the request.
