a faculty position. The email says:
Thank you for your application to our advertised position for an Assistant
Professor of Biochemistry at XXXXX University. We had hoped to be actively
interviewing at his stage. However due to a recent change in upper level
college administration, our search during this academic year has been
canceled. We hope to re-advertise and fill this position next year once the
new administrative team has had a chance to review the hiring needs of
science units on our campus.
We thank you for sending us your application material and hope that you will
consider us next year if we are able to resume this search and if you are
still on the job market.
Is this just polite way to reject my application or it means somewhat
interest in me and encourage me to apply when the position becomes open? | b*****d
