她改过,上次大改过,这次又来了,从头看到尾,全是tracked changes, 感觉这个
editro非常stubborn,哪有文章千篇一律非要用她的话的啊? 比如说,我用reduced,
她非要说用decreased,文章里所有的reduced全部要改成decreased的。
除了我不是native English speaker外,文章的其他3个作者全是老美,2个都是非常
senior的,full professor,系头,而且是在本领域内是大牛。我这3个co-author非常
认真改这篇文章来来回回改了1年了,投过New England Journal of Medicine和JAMA,
review过后被拒才投的JNCI,而且NEJM有comments回来的,基本无大过,就是editor不
喜欢这个topic才悲剧的,所以说英语上是绝对没有问题的了。
我现在看到这篇文章就想吐了,但这是我薄厚的第一篇文章啊,不改不行,总觉得这个
editor在abuse她的权力
我发过10来篇文章了,可能以前太顺风顺水了,从来没有这样被折磨过,现在脆弱的心
灵痛苦不堪上来吐个槽,顺便问问这样改法常见么?在这个领域做了10年了,这次才深

boring, we used them alternatively. I asked one of my colleagues here, and
she agreed with me. She thought it was only a style issue. The editor loves
doing in this way.
