the degree is awarded within one year starting from the first day of the job
. As for postdoc, it is actually up to the PI who sponsors your postdoc
training to make the decision. I bet the PI will allow you to start your
postdoc if you can show that you have completed your doctoral paperwork.

理论上 thesis交了 第2天就可以换postdoc的合同了吧
