发帖数: 2041 | 3 Who cares? If you have funding, you should seek other opportunities or at
least get a tenure offer from another institution these days. Maybe my
thinking is too radical even for today, I never worry about my tenure
package but focus on grants and papers. My department should be worry about
retaining me not the other way around because if I leave, the money (
although R01 is supposed to be institutional), they money usually move
with the PI.
To answer your question, depending on the institution, both can get tenured
and both could also not get tenured. If there is a measuring stick for
tenure, then B is the choice because A didn't meet the criteria you
descripted.

发帖数: 1884 | 4 MRI的钱分量要轻一些吧,另外, book chapter不如journal paper. 我觉得B的case要强
不少.
钱多不一定就文章多, 我们领域有几位AP,钱不少, 但文章真不怎么样. |
