author。
我们这里是corresponding author = extra work + no credit (管理的话，一般不涉
及到funding)，所以如果不是和学生合作的话，大家其实都不愿意当。和学生和写的时
候没办法只好当。
有人和我说过，如果他看到一个人是corresponding author，那么他就认为这人没做太
多工作，所以这个组把paper work/submission/writing这些交给他来做。
国内很看corresponding author。 |

他的理由不成立。

这个很重要，特别现在在国内，不管任何专业，corresponding author是课题的Leader

有问题或者想要paper做的东西，应该联系corresponding author. 所以corresponding
author 应该是lead of the project, 否则不能对paper做主.

我有时和比我senior很多的几个人一起合作，他们还是让我当corresponding author，
尽管我不是lead of the project。
最后除了我们几个之外，别人也不知道谁是corresponding author，因为paper上发表
出来不一定写。

Corresponding author. 负责投稿的那个人尽管在杂志的投稿系统里被称
为Corresponding author，但是那和普通意义上的corresponding author
性质是不同的。

才真正算corresponding author.

with any questions or comments about the paper. People might assume that
this person is the one who did the work. Having reviewed for a journal does
not seem to me to be a reason to be the corresponding author.
Another question is that this guy is an established professor; is it likely
having him as a corresponding author will improve the acceptance opportunity? |

lz你太没自信啦。即使会提高接受可能性我也绝对不可能把corresponding author让出
去。不然接受了也等于是别人的paper被接受了

我这里如果合作过程中合作者提出要做corresponding author，那我一般感觉是he/she
is trying to help。
而且一般只有做了比较少工作的那个人会提这个。
我老板以前也嘱咐过我，不要既做第一作者又做通信作者。如果想做第一作者，就让别
人做通信作者。当然大多数时候是按字母排。 |

corresponding author 的理由，人家只是告诉你，希望你觉得让他做corresponding
author 对文章被接收有好处。我觉得做过reviewer 是没有用的，如果他是杂志的编辑
或者和编辑很熟，可能是有帮助，不过他是不是corresponding 应该都一样吧。 （不
让他做他是不是会很不高兴？） 要我就担心今后合作和同事关系的问题了

自己做了95%以上的工作但不是first or corresponding author。
我自己身上也发生过几次。
不愿意的话可以不和别人合作。
我们这里很多人是坚持alphabetical的。中国人就特别吃亏。

It is usually either the first author, who is the student or postdoc, or the
last author, who is the project lead/grant PI.
