发帖数: 6 | 1 今天收到Dean签的 appointment letter （大概描述一下待遇，和条款），但是信中说
“following approval of this offer by the president and corresponding action
of board of trustees at its next earliest public meeting, you will receive
a formal contract from the president..."
1. 请问president 和 trustee 会不会拒？ 而且这种会议一般会在什么时候， 这封
letter 是 3.31号写的，一般什么时候能等到正式的contract？
2. 信中还说 "this offer is contingent upon receipt of official transcripts
within 30 days of your receipt of the offer..." 请问我是不是要把所有成绩单都
寄出去 还是只寄博士的？ 本科在国内念得 现在回去再办很麻烦啊。
3. 还有就是H1B 的问题， 该校是9月开学， 请问一般得什么时候才开始办H1B呢？ 是
等所有contract都完事， 还是现在就开始？ 万一到时候9月份还没办下H1B， offer会
不会撤走？（我phd不是在美国， 所有没有OPT)
4. offer letter 里没有提到大家常说的 绿卡问题， 比如EB2之类的，请问需不需要
跟dean讲一下， 还是说学校一般都是默认给办理

极少,极少会在President或Trustee这两个级别被拒.除非突发很大的财政危机.
2. 信中还说 "this offer is contingent upon receipt of official transcripts
within 30 days of your receipt of the offer..." 请问我是不是要把所有成绩单都
寄出去 还是只寄博士的？ 本科在国内念得 现在回去再办很麻烦啊。
把英文的graduate degrees寄给他们(个人意见).
3. 还有就是H1B 的问题， 该校是9月开学， 请问一般得什么时候才开始办H1B呢？ 是
等所有contract都完事， 还是现在就开始？ 万一到时候9月份还没办下H1B， offer会
不会撤走？（我phd不是在美国， 所有没有OPT)
可以要求系里现在和学校的International Office 来get in touch. 听他们的意见何
时办理H1B.
4. offer letter 里没有提到大家常说的 绿卡问题， 比如EB2之类的，请问需不需要

一般默认给办理.系里难道要一直给你renew H1B?
